Y2K Room Decor: Bratz, 2000s Collages and K-pop Posters

Layout ideas for bedrooms and dorms (with measurements)

Sizes: A5 is 14.8 × 21 cm, A4 is 21 × 29.7 cm and A3 is 29.7 × 42 cm.

Above the bed: a 2 × 4 grid of A5s

Eight A5 posters in portrait, in two rows of four with 3 cm gaps. Total: 68.2 cm wide × 45 cm tall. Try alternating Bratz and collage prints, or putting one row of KATSEYE above one row of 2000s collages.

Dorm desk: three A4s in a row

Three A4s in portrait with 4 cm gaps measure 71 cm × 29.7 cm. It works well above a standard desk, and a small row is easy to put up with removable fixings.

Mixed grid: one A3 and four A5s

Hang one A3 in portrait in the centre, such as the Pink 2000s Aesthetic Collage, with two A5s stacked on each side. With 4 cm gaps this is about 67 cm wide × 46 cm tall. Our gallery wall layouts guide has more measured options.

A5 or A4 for a Y2K wall?

A5 is the classic choice for a collage-style wall. You can fit lots of prints into a small space, and swapping them around later is easy. A4 gives each design more presence. It suits the detailed collage prints and the KATSEYE tour posters, and it's the size to choose if you want frames. A practical mix is A4 for your two or three favourites, with A5s filling in around them. Keep the gaps equal so the grid still reads as one piece. If you're not sure which size suits your wall, cut paper rectangles to 14.8 × 21 cm and 21 × 29.7 cm and tape them up for a day before ordering. The poster size guide has more help.

Styling ideas

  • Repeat a colour: pink features in several designs, such as the Pink Glitter Bratz and Pink 2000s Aesthetic Collage posters. Pick posters that share a colour for a cohesive wall.
  • Fairy lights: a string of lights above or around the grid suits the Y2K look. Keep the lights from resting directly on the paper.
  • Mirrors: a mirror beside a poster grid adds light to a small room. Leave the same gap between mirror and posters as between the posters.

What sizes do the posters come in?

A5, A4 and A3, all printed on 250gsm matte paper with fade-resistant inks. There's also an A4 framed option on most posters.

Do the posters come framed?

Only if you choose Medium (A4) Framed. Otherwise prints arrive unframed, flat in a protective bubble envelope.

How fast is delivery?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days, and UK delivery typically takes 2–4 working days after dispatch. UK standard delivery is free on orders £20+ (after discounts). £2.99 under £20.

Can I put posters up in a rented room or dorm?

Many people use removable adhesive strips, poster putty or washi tape. Check what your landlord or halls allow, and test on a hidden spot first.

Can I return a poster?

Unused, undamaged posters can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Email sales@posterlystudio.uk with your order number. If a poster arrives damaged, send photos and we'll replace it free.
